Adopt These Dogs of the Day: A six-year-old Great Dane named Lily, who lost her eyes at 18 months to an illness, is looking for a new home — and so is her guide dog Maddison.
The Dogs Trust Shrewsbury in Roden received the pups in July from owners who claimed they could no longer care for them. Sadly, the trust has been unable to rehome the dogs, mostly due to Lily’s condition and the fact that she comes with an inseparable companion.
“It’s very sad as members of the public walk straight by their kennel,” said the trust’s manager, Louise Campbell. “Lily does all the things normal dogs do and, if you saw her from a distance, you wouldn’t even realise she was blind.”
Those interested in adopting the pair are invited to contact the trust, or visit their website.

I’ve seen them online and I didn’t know they were to adopt. Please reblog all you can, they really need a forever home these two! And lotsa love of course. Love big doggies. I would adopt them in an heartbeat if I could.
